We’re very busy lately! I finally got a day off, so, naturally, I spent it working on band stuff. Today, I updated the website, because we had our first professional band photo shoot this last Friday. We got off the radio at WFNC with Goldy, and got straight to work on the shoot. Huge thanks to our friend Joseph Bloomer with Maestro Photography. We had a blast, and look forward to working with him again in the future.
We’re working on re-recording our songs to provide a higher quality gift of music, and we’re also working on new songs for a new EP. I’m also still trekking back and forth to Nashville, working on another solo EP project with producer Mike Loudermilk, this time all cover songs. I hope you will enjoy them as much as I do. Just this past Monday and Tuesday, we drove out, recorded “These Boots Were Made For Walking,” and drove back. I’m beat! But I’m excited for everything going on. I have so much more I’m working on that I can’t talk about just yet, but it’s all huge and amazing, and you’re gonna love it when you find out.
In science news, I can’t believe there’s a freaking car in space. I’m avidly following Elon Musk on twitter, I don’t know what to believe about this guy, but so far he seems pretty amazing. I just hope he doesn’t turn out to be another creep.
Also, did you know we have a man-made star orbiting earth? kinda funny and cool. It’s called the Humanity Star. <<That site has a real-time Humanity Star tracker. I haven’t tried to see it yet, but I’m gonna!
Speaking of things that I’m gonna do, I’m gonna start painting again. I miss it.
